Job description

NAMHS is currently seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our esteemed team based in California. We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated Therapist committed to delivering exceptional mental health services to a diverse clientele. Responsibilities:

  • Therapist will act in all aspects of the job in a respectful and professional manner. This is to include, but not limited to interpersonal interactions with colleagues and other staff, dressing in a professional manner that reflects their position, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Clients will be seen at the time of their scheduled appointment in a timely manner.
  • Treatment will comply with all legal and ethical standards as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Documentation will be completed in a timely manner, and no longer than 72 hours from the time of session. It will also comply with the standards of practice established by professional norms.
  • Therapists will be responsible for responsibilities of mandated reporters in the state of California, in accordance with state law.
  • Therapists will also address issues that arise as per the normal course of treatment (ie. Consultation, appropriate referrals, etc.)
  • Therapists will work with support staff to maintain a full schedule on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a valid Master’s degree.
  • Must be fully licensed by the State of California to practice with the appropriate license(s).
  • At least 3 years of experience related in this filed.
  • Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • No weekend work
