Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000
The Role:
We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to support our mission in democratizing access to high-quality mental health care! Our telemedicine therapists collaborate with prescribers as needed, to support clients during their mental health journey. This therapist role provides direct care for a panel of clients and allows for flexibility when client sessions can be scheduled. You can see clients during traditional business hours, evenings, or on weekends.
Skills & Requirements:
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
- Active license State in California for any of the following license structures: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work
- At least 3 years experience in this field.
- Experience in diagnosing mental health disorders
- Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing & implementing outcome-focused care
- Empathetic and intuitive listening
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Knowledgeable in crisis response
- Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality mental health care
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Provide therapeutic and psychopharmacological interventions along with ongoing monitoring and management of the client’s level of functioning and treatment outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed including safety planning, relapse prevention planning, referral to community resources, and same-day evaluation and possible stabilization.
- Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary clinical team to staff cases and review progress, hurdles, feedback, and recommendations.
- Review and confirm that all client information is complete and up to date.
- Coordinate care of clients with the referral source, family, and other organizations involved to further the effectiveness of treatment services.
