Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000
Job description
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to work with individuals coping with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide therapy services, with a focus on relational and interpersonal dynamics within families, marriages, and couples.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual, family and group therapy.
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments.
- Developing individualized and follow-up treatment plans.
- Actively participating in the multi-disciplinary team process to contribute to positively to the overall treatment plan for clients.
- Monitor clients' situations, and follow up to ensure that they have improved
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- 2 years in leadership role in outpatient setting
- Some extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Possess a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
