Job description

We are a new practice that is looking to expand and add an additional therapist. We offer a range of services and are currently recruiting for a therapist to provide therapy be trained on how to complete bariatric psychological evaluations and participate in periodic therapeutic retreats and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.
• Provides crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment.
• Participates in trainings in-service meetings, clinician meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development and maintain knowledge of methodology and techniques.
• Provide a range of therapeutic services, which could include: family, individual, psych evaluations and group therapy.
• Diagnoses or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals and administers programs of treatment.

Requirements:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in this field
• Experienced with treatment of a wide range of mental health problems of varying severity and complexity.
• Proficient with planning and performing psychological interventions.
• Compassionate and empathetic with a strong ability to establish and build trust.
