Job Overview:

As a Marriage and Family Therapist you will set your own hours while providing direct clinical care to populations of individuals, couples or families. You will monitor and assess ongoing change through solid treatment planning and documentation while also propelling clients into driving their own treatment. Our ideal candidate is calm under pressure, diligent and organized in their documentation and scheduling of clients, able to successfully navigate clinical crises, and manage the competing concerns of individual clients, their families, and others.

Employment Type: Full-time Position

Salary Offer: $120,000 to $130,000

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in weekly scheduled Clinical Team meetings and collaborate with community agencies
  • Conduct intake and needs assessment of individuals, significant others, and family members by testing, interviewing, observing, and holding discussion sessions
  • Plan, carry out, and assess therapeutic treatment programs for each patient individually
  • Utilize solution-focused therapy strategies to provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children
  • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active state licensure as Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing therapy in various settings. This includes working with individuals, couples, and families.
  • Strong capacity to empathize with clients and offer supportive, non-judgmental care.
  • Ability to assess and diagnose mental health disorders, as well as develop and implement treatment plans.
