Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000

Job description

We commit to helping our clients gain relationships with themselves and their loved ones by creating a supportive environment where our clients can process and explore what is weighing them down, expanding self-awareness and self-perception.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a patient/family advocate in negotiating the health care system.
• Reinforces patient teaching to ensure patient/family understanding.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Valid License with Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• At least 2 years of experience in providing mental health services, preferably in a health-related setting.
• Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws
• Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes
• Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients

Salary: $90k – 100k a year.
