Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job description

We provide therapy services, with a focus on relational and interpersonal dynamics within families, marriages, and couples. We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to work with individuals coping with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participating in the multi-disciplinary team process to contribute to positively to the overall treatment plan for clients.
• Monitor clients' situations, and follow up to ensure that they have improved
• Providing individual, family and group therapy.
• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments.
• Developing individualized and follow-up treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• 2 years in leadership role in outpatient setting
• Some extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Possess a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
