Available Position as Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

We are looking for a Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is dedicated to improving client well-being. In this role, you will provide individual, couple, and family therapy, assisting clients in navigating conflicts, improving relationships, and enhancing emotional health. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Your empathetic approach will help clients work through their challenges and achieve lasting change.

Salary:
  • $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests to develop treatment plans.
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote emotional well-being.
  • Regularly assess clients’ progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, including risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
  • Work alongside other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any changes in client status.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Must hold active California state license as LMFT.
  • Must have 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
  • Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
