We are seeking a Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to couples and families, helping them address a range of relational, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include facilitating therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining timely documentation. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering healthier communication and deeper connections among clients, creating a supportive environment for growth and healing.
Salary:
- $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
- Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests to develop treatment plans.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote emotional well-being.
- Regularly assess clients’ progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, including risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
- Work alongside other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any changes in client status.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
- Must hold active California state license as LMFT.
- Must have 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
