Full-time Remote Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Available Position

Our outpatient clinic is looking for a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide client-centered mental health services. In this role, you will utilize telehealth technology to deliver therapy to individuals and families, focusing on enhancing emotional well-being and resilience. Key responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations, facilitating virtual sessions, and maintaining thorough documentation. Your compassionate approach will help clients feel connected and supported, regardless of physical distance.

Salary:
  • $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough client assessments via video or phone, gathering relevant history and presenting issues.
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote emotional well-being.
  • Regularly assess clients’ progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, including risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
  • Work alongside other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms, digital communication tools, and electronic health record systems.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Must hold active California state license as LMFT.
  • Must have 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
  • Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
