Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Role in California
Be a part of a counseling team that shares knowledge and supports one another in providing quality care. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your expertise will provide counseling and mental health services within a marital and family context and support individuals and families in overcoming personal obstacles.
Position Overview:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, plus benefits
Key Duties:
- Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, promoting emotional healing.
- Perform client assessments to establish effective treatment strategies.
- Identifies and addresses barriers to care.
- Documentation demonstrates intervention that supports patients’ treatment
- Coordinates and collaborates with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members to ensure high-quality care to patients.
- Provide crisis support and interventions when necessary.
- Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Excellent communication and counseling skills
- Consults, develops, and implements a psychosocial treatment plan in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members as appropriate.
