Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Opportunity in Clive, IA

We seek a compassionate and skilled Couples Therapist/Counselor dedicated to providing individual one-on-one therapy sessions, offering personalized support to address each client's unique needs. This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated Therapist to join a team of caring professionals, with plenty of room for professional growth and advancement.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Primary Responsibilities:

• To recognize signs and symptoms of mental health disorders and apply/utilize appropriate treatment interventions.
• Interprets and explains social and emotional factors pertaining to illness to clients, relatives, and community groups, and may conduct educational sessions and training events, as appropriate
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to offer a well-rounded approach to care.
• Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
• Continue professional development by keeping up with evolving mental health practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Licensed in the State of Iowa as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• Ability to exercise clinical judgment with supportive consultation in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of LMFT ethics and scope of practice
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with culturally diverse clinic staff and patients.
