Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Role in Auburn, Alabama

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your expertise will provide counseling and mental health services within a marital and family context and support individuals and families in overcoming personal obstacles.
Position Overview:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, plus benefits
Key Duties:
- Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, promoting emotional healing.
- Perform client assessments to establish effective treatment strategies.
- Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among patients and staff
- Documentation demonstrates intervention that supports patients’ treatment
- Support and closely coordinate mental health care with the patient’s primary care provider and other treating mental health providers
- Provide crisis support and interventions when necessary.
- Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Licensed to practice in the state of Alabama as LMFT
- A positive and compassionate attitude
- Excellent communication and counseling skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to take initiative and exercise independent and sensible judgment; demonstrates clinical decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
