Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Role in San Mateo, California

We are adding a skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience or certification in approaches such as narrative, systems, structural family, strategic, transgenerational, or communication therapy.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Full-time opportunity.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, with full benefits included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess mood disorder symptoms, including their frequency and intensity.
  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Educate clients and families about mood disorders and treatment options.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.
  • Stay informed on current research and advancements in mood disorder treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards.
  • Actively participate in consultations, team meetings, and training sessions.
  • Advocate for client mental health needs and work to reduce stigma.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active California state license.
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Proven ability to foster trust and connection in therapeutic relationships.
