Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Opportunity in Fresno, California

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Couples Therapist/Counselor who is dedicated to providing individual one-on-one therapy sessions, offering personalized support to address each client's unique needs. Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs intensive counseling, psychotherapy, case management, and treatment services with patients or clients and their families
• Complete documentation in a timely, efficient, and ethical manner.
• Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
• To establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to care.
• Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Licensed to practice in the state of California as LMFT
• Knowledge of LMFT ethics and scope of practice
• Ability to develop effective rapport and working therapeutic alliances with patients
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
• Skill at writing documentation that is timely, meaningful, complete, legible, grammatically correct, concise and consistent with legal and administrative standards
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
