Full time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Wanted in Fargo, North Dakota

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse client. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating mental health issues, relationship challenges, and family dynamics, with a strong commitment to supporting clients in achieving their personal and relational goals.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with various life challenges, relationship issues, and mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
  • To establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, community organizations, and support services to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Valid LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) license in State of North Dakota
  • Knowledge of LMFT ethics and scope of practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
  • Skill at writing documentation that is timely, meaningful, complete, legible, grammatically correct, concise and consistent with legal and administrative standards
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
