Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Role in Grand Forks, North Dakota

Position Overview:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus benefits

Key Duties:

  • Support clients in addressing a range of challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, conflict in relationships, grief, and communication issues.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that are client-driven and reflect their personal values and needs.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among patients and staff
  • Documentation demonstrates intervention that supports patients’ treatment
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, mental health professionals, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention for clients in urgent need.
  • Be proactive in expanding your expertise in specific areas of interest, such as trauma, adolescent therapy, or couples counseling.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota as LMFT
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and legal considerations related to therapy practice.
