Full time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Wanted in Fremont, California

We are looking for a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in providing psychotherapy services. This position involves helping individuals and families achieve emotional wellness and improve relationships. Our mission is to improve the mental well-being of individuals and families through high-quality therapeutic care.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with various life challenges, relationship issues, and mental health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
• Establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff
• Collaborate with other clinicians, community organizations, and support services to ensure comprehensive care.
• Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Valid LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) license in the State of California
• Knowledge of LMFT ethics and scope of practice
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
• Skill at writing documentation that is timely, meaningful, complete, legible, grammatically correct, concise and consistent with legal and administrative standards
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
