Hiring! Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – in Santa Clarita, California (Full-Time)

We are looking to expand our team by adding a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who shares our commitment to mental wellness and growth. As a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) you will provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients dealing with a wide range of challenges.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individuals, couples, and families a therapy session in person and deal with their life challenges, relationship issues, and mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
  • Establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, community organizations, and support services to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining an appropriate number of sessions per week.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • Knowledge of LMFT ethics and scope of practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
  • Skill at writing documentation that is timely, meaningful, complete, legible, grammatically correct, concise and consistent with legal and administrative standards
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
