Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – in Corona, California (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a skilled Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and work alongside a dedicated group of professionals in a supportive and dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate is an empathetic and culturally sensitive professional who will conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other clinicians and professionals.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, in-person therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, providing clients with an understanding of their mental health concerns and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and confidential documentation of client notes and treatment progress in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff
  • Collaborate with clients to create and implement effective treatment plans that address their goals and needs, ensuring that therapy is focused on achieving long-term well-being.
  • Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain caseload and schedule according to agreed-upon expectations and manage client needs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Active, unrestricted LMFT licensure in California.
  • In-depth understanding of California’s legal and ethical standards governing therapy and mental health services.
  • Have a strong clinical background, including experience in therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
  • Flexibility in working with a wide range of client issues, including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and family dynamics.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
