Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on a range of issues including PTSD, behavioral challenges, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of clients through effective therapy and case management.

Experience
- A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid LMFT license in the State of California.
- Experience in providing therapy and case management services is essential.
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and other therapeutic modalities is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and families.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective client interaction and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy through individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Offer specialized care for clients dealing with PTSD, ensuring a supportive environment for healing.
- Manage cases effectively by coordinating services and resources for clients, including referrals to other professionals as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress following ICD-9 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
- Engage in child-family counseling to address the unique dynamics within families and support healthy relationships.
Education: Master's (Required)
License/Certification: LCSW LMFT or LPCC (Required)
