Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Pasadena, California

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing mental health team in an outpatient setting. In this full-time role, you will provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive mental health outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Educate clients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relationship skills.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical therapy practices.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active LMFT license in California.
  • Experience in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention abilities.
