Join Our Team: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Ames, Iowa

We are committed to promoting emotional well-being and strengthening relationships through quality care. We are seeking a skilled LMFT to join our outpatient team in Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated mental health professional to make a direct impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy in an in-person setting.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR, to address emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in line with California state regulations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • Active LMFT license in Iowa (in good standing).
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient mental health settings.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
