Position Overview:
We are expanding our network of licensed providers in California. We seek a skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and make a meaningful impact. Our team of licensed professionals offers personalized therapeutic services to support emotional well-being and foster stronger relationships
Job Duties:
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Assess clients’ family dynamics, relationship patterns, and past trauma to inform treatment planning
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual, couple, or family needs
- Provide immediate crisis support and coordinate with local crisis services if necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Educate clients and families on communication strategies, boundary setting, and behavioral techniques to improve daily functioning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and collaborate on care plans
- Active LMFT license in California (BBS-Approved)
- 1+ year experience in couples/marriage counseling
- Telehealth experience preferred, but training provided
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
- Flexibility in working with a wide range of client issues, including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and family dynamics
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations
