Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Therapists must be fully licensed marriage and family therapists by the California State Board to provide counseling independently and without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and supervision to clients struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues
- Establish positive and nurturing relationships with the clients within professional boundaries in accordance with the policies and procedures
- Maintain vigilance and awareness of the milieu while monitoring the behavior, activities, and safety of the clients
- Engage in activities with the clients, such as hikes, equine therapy, surf therapy, and fitness groups
- Create a constructive therapeutic community in accordance with the Center’s polices
- Conduct and facilitate psycho-education groups and recreational activities
- Perform crisis management and interventions as necessary
- Demonstrate model behaviors
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all shift activities
- Master's degree in marriage and family therapy or a similar field.
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy (LMFT) license in CALIFORNIA
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist
- Experience with PTSD and complex trauma preferred
- Clinical competence in evidence-based practices and providing quality care
