Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 + Benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide virtual mental health support to individuals, couples, and families across California. The LMFT will provide family and individual mental health counseling/therapy. Provides treatment for mental disorders and psychological conflicts. Helps families resolve emotional, mental and psychological conflicts.
This position is responsible for conducting behavioral health psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions, inclusive of individual, group, and family therapy in the partial hospitalization and structured outpatient programs. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, coordinates patient care and provides case management for assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Assess clients’ family dynamics, relationship patterns, and past trauma to inform treatment planning
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual, couple, or family needs
- Provide immediate crisis support and coordinate with local crisis services if necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Educate clients and families on communication strategies, boundary setting, and behavioral techniques to improve daily functioning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and collaborate on care plans
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree In Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - PA Board of Behavioral Sciences
- 1 Year Experience in a behavioral health setting
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
- Have a strong clinical background, including experience in therapy for individuals, couples, and families
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
- Flexibility in working with a wide range of client issues, including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and family dynamics
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations
