Urgent Hiring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Burbank, California

Job Description:

We’re excited to announce that we’re looking for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team and provide vital mental health care in a correctional facility. We're determined to deliver world-class care to our clients. We build long-lasting relationships because we're intentional about the details of our delivery and quality of care.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy through individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Offer specialized care for clients dealing with PTSD, ensuring a supportive environment for healing
  • Manage cases effectively by coordinating services and resources for clients, including referrals to other professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress following ICD-9 standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided to clients
  • Engage in child-family counseling to address the unique dynamics within families and support healthy relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
  • Current and unrestricted California license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain
  • 1 year or more of experience working with children, couples, or families
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crises
  • Flexibility in working with a wide range of client issues, including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and family dynamics
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations
