As an LMFT in our outpatient clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. You will provide individual, couples, and family therapy in both short-term and long-term formats. This role also allows you to use your specialized knowledge and therapeutic approach to help clients build resilience and achieve their personal goals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting (preferred).
- Strong clinical skills, including experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, family systems therapy, trauma-informed care).
- Ability to build strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and create a safe, inclusive therapeutic space.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions in a private, outpatient setting.
- Work collaboratively with clients to create and implement personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, following ethical guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other clinicians, case managers, and support staff to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary and refer clients to additional resources as needed.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development to continue growing your clinical skills and knowledge.
