Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa

Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Position Summary:
As an LMFT, you will provide outpatient mental health services to a diverse population, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. This role offers flexibility in terms of schedule and work environment—ideal for clinicians seeking autonomy with the backing of a well-resourced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care
  • Attend clinical team meetings and participate in optional training opportunities
  • Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Active Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) license in Maryland
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to engage clients across diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong ethical standards, professional demeanor, and commitment to confidentiality
