Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Saco, Maine

Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Position Summary:

As an LMFT, you will provide therapy to clients presenting with a range of emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns. You will play a key role in helping clients build stronger relationships, process trauma, improve communication, and work toward long-term wellness. This position offers a flexible work model (in-office, hybrid, or field/community-based) to accommodate your strengths and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions
  • Document sessions and progress in accordance with professional and legal standards
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, medical providers, and community resources as needed
  • Participate in clinical meetings, peer consultation, and continuing education opportunities
  • Promote culturally responsive and trauma-informed care practices

We’re looking for a dedicated LMHC who:

  • Active LMFT license in the state of Iowa
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate clinical experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, EFT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in or willing to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Cultural humility and a passion for serving diverse populations
