- Assist the medical doctor with patient evaluations and assessments
- Help to develop and implement treatment plans under the doctor's guidance
- Conduct basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering injections
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information and answering their questions in a kind and caring manner
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the medical doctor
- Help to manage the office and ensure a smooth patient flow
- Keep the office clean and organized, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and caring approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual respect
