As a Medical Assistant, you will support both patient care and operational efficiency within the hospital. You’ll be the welcoming face many patients see first and the reliable hand that ensures they receive prompt, respectful, and coordinated care.
Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

What You’ll Do:
- Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and updating medical histories
- Assisting providers with exams and minor procedures
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining clean, safe clinical spaces
- Administering medications and vaccines per standing orders
- Performing point-of-care testing and EKGs
- Managing patient flow and communicating delays effectively
- Scheduling appointments, referrals, and follow-up care
- Updating electronic medical records (Epic experience a plus)
- Supporting the front office when needed (phone calls, check-in, documentation)
- Working alongside providers, nurses, care coordinators, and administrative staff
- Participating in daily huddles and quality improvement efforts
- Upholding HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certificate or diploma)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- National certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- 1+ year experience in a clinical or hospital outpatient setting
- Comfort using electronic health records
