Now Hiring: Medical Assistant – Pediatrics

Location: Binghamton, New York

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

Are you a skilled and caring Medical Assistant who loves working with children? We’re looking for a dedicated and energetic professional to join our pediatric team in New York City, where every smile, every visit, and every interaction makes a difference.

In this role, you’ll help ensure smooth, efficient visits and provide gentle, quality care that children and parents can trust.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and assist with check-ins and vital signs
  • Prepare exam rooms and support physicians during pediatric procedures
  • Administer vaccinations and collect lab specimens
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records using EMR
  • Educate families on basic pediatric care instructions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly environment

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a pediatric or clinical setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and people skills—especially with children and parents
  • Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
  • EMR experience is a plus
