We are seeking a qualified Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team. In this leadership role as an Occupational Medicine Physician, you will guide the strategic direction of our occupational health programs. You will lead a team of healthcare professionals, overseeing medical evaluations and developing innovative health initiatives that foster a culture of safety and wellness in the workplace. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping policies, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Salary:- $275,000 to $320,000 a year with full benefits
- M to F 9 to 5 pm
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and examinations
- Diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up.
- Develop and implement health programs to promote well-being and prevent occupational hazards.
- Collaborate with HR, safety personnel, and management to address workplace health concerns and improve safety protocols.
- Provide training and education on health and safety issues to employees and management.
- Perform fitness-for-duty assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
- Stay current with occupational health regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
- Participate in workplace health initiatives, health screenings, and vaccination programs.
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- DOT certification preferred.
- DEA number and NPI required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area.
- Valid medical license to practice in Colorado state.
- Experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
