Full-time Occupational Medicine Physician Needed

We are seeking a talented Occupational Medicine Physician to become a part of our team. This position focuses on evaluating and addressing the health needs of our patients, prioritizing the prevention and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses. A solid grasp of workplace health regulations is essential, along with the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Salary:
  • $275,000 to $320,000 a year with full benefits
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and examinations
  • Diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement health programs to promote well-being and prevent occupational hazards.
  • Collaborate with HR, safety personnel, and management to address workplace health concerns and improve safety protocols.
  • Provide training and education on health and safety issues to employees and management.
  • Perform fitness-for-duty assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
  • Stay current with occupational health regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in workplace health initiatives, health screenings, and vaccination programs.
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine
  • DOT certification preferred.
  • DEA number and NPI required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area.
  • Active medical license to practice in Colorado state.
  • Experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
