Full-time Occupational Medicine Physician Needed

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team. This role involves assessing and addressing the health needs of our patients, with an emphasis on preventing and managing workplace injuries and illnesses. A comprehensive knowledge of workplace health regulations is critical, along with strong collaboration skills to engage with various stakeholders. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve through robust occupational health services that promote safety and enhance productivity.

Salary:
  • $275,000 to $320,000 a year with full benefits
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and examinations
  • Diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement health programs to promote well-being and prevent occupational hazards.
  • Collaborate with HR, safety personnel, and management to address workplace health concerns and improve safety protocols.
  • Provide training and education on health and safety issues to employees and management.
  • Perform fitness-for-duty assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
  • Stay current with occupational health regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in workplace health initiatives, health screenings, and vaccination programs.
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine
  • DOT certification preferred.
  • DEA number and NPI required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area.
  • Active medical license to practice in Colorado state.
  • Experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
