This is a full-time, w-2 position in a hospital setting, with remarkable opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Work Schedule:

Typically, 40–50 hours per week.

Participate in an equitable on-call rotation, ensuring comprehensive and continuous patient care.

Salary:

$600,000-$800,000 + bonuses, based on expertise and experience level.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, thoracic aortic surgery, heart transplantation, and minimally invasive cardiac surgery.

  • Collaborate closely with referring physicians and cardiologists to ensure seamless continuity of patient care.

  • Assess patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests to determine the need for surgery.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including preoperative care, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.

  • Participate in research activities, clinical trials, and medical conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiovascular surgery.

  • Mentor and educate residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Collaborate closely with a distinguished multidisciplinary team, including renowned cardiologists, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, nurses, and other specialized professionals.

Job Qualifications:

  • MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)

  • Completion of residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

  • Board certification for certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

  • Valid medical license and the ability to practice in the state.

  • Proven experience in performing a wide range of cardiovascular surgical procedures.

  • Exceptional surgical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle complex cases.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and provide compassionate patient care.
