Full-time Cardiologist Needed for Cardiac Care Practice in Fresno, CA

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required for patient consultations or emergencies
Our cardiac care practice offers comprehensive cardiovascular services, including preventive care, diagnostics, interventional procedures, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgeries. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of experienced cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurse practitioners, and support staff, fostering a stimulating and collaborative work environment.
Salary:
$300,000 to $500,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
- Performing and interpreting cardiac tests and imaging studies, such as echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Developing personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and recommending lifestyle modifications to manage cardiac conditions effectively.
- Performing interventional procedures, such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient care.
- Providing patient education on cardiovascular health, disease management, and preventive measures.
- Conducting research and participating in clinical trials to advance knowledge in the field of cardiology.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records and documenting patient encounters in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Participating in professional development activities and staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiology.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
- Fellowship training in cardiology from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or equivalent.
- Valid medical license to practice cardiology in the state.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiac tests and imaging studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
