Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and diagnostic assessments of patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms and conditions.
Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and cardiac catheterization, to accurately diagnose and monitor cardiac diseases.
Develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating medical management, lifestyle modifications, and procedural interventions, tailored to each patient's specific needs.
Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and management of cardiac conditions, empowering patients to take an active role in their cardiac well-being.
Monitor patients' progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials to advance knowledge and improve treatment options for cardiovascular diseases.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous medical education (CME) activities and participation in relevant conferences and research.
Qualifications:
Doctor’s degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
Fellowship training in Cardiology from an accredited program.
Board certification or eligibility for certification in Cardiology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Cardiologist.
Proficiency in a wide range of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and procedures.
Strong clinical skills in evaluating and managing a variety of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
