We invite a compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our practice and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare. As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing ongoing care for chronic illnesses. Your collaborative approach will facilitate seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated care experience. Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm
- Friday: 9am-6pm
- Sunday (rotations): 10am-4pm
- $280,000 - $290,000 per year, plus health insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess pain levels, medical history, and psychosocial factors influencing their pain.
- Manage primary care appointments, including new visits and follow-ups for annual exams, common illnesses, STDs, employer-related forms, and clearances.
- Perform initial evaluations for specialty care referrals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and specialty referrals.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care to enhance their overall health and well-being.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensure clear communication with both patients and other healthcare providers.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Valid medical license to practice in the New York state where the position is located
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligibility) from a recognized medical board.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage complex medical conditions, including chronic diseases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
