General Cardiologist Opportunity

About You:
You’re a board-certified cardiologist with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a passion for patient-centered care. Whether you’re managing complex cases or guiding patients on preventive measures, your expertise ensures optimal outcomes and a positive experience.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Position Highlights:
- Independent Outpatient Practice: No hospital rounds or hospital call responsibilities.
- Work-Life Balance: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with office on-call limited to phone consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical exams and deliver personalized care for patients with acute, chronic, and episodic cardiac conditions.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including echocardiograms, ECGs, MRIs, and CT scans, to guide treatment plans.
- Skillfully perform exercise and nuclear stress tests, interpreting results to optimize patient outcomes.
- Prescribe and manage cardiac medications, ensuring patient safety and effective treatment.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence to support long-term heart health.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay current with medical advancements through continuing education and maintain board certification.
- Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Pay: $400,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in Cardiology
- Valid and unrestricted New York state physician license, or ability to obtain
- Current and unrestricted DEA license
- Current ACLS certification
- Unrestricted ability to participate in Medicare and Medicaid, or other federal or state governmental programs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Energetic, motivated, and collegial
- Strong clinical acumen, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, eClinicalWorks preferred
