Full-time Cardiologist Needed in Ticonderoga , New York

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our team. As a cardiologist, you will be responsible to provide quality patient care in collaboration with the physician and registered nurse during all cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $400,000 – $450,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

• Provide full-scope cardiovascular care to patients in both the outpatient clinic and inpatient settings, including noninvasive cardiac testing and cardiac stress testing
• Function as part of the Medical Group and clinical team, covering for providers who are out, working with case management, collaborating with specialists and allied health professionals to maximize health outcomes
• Perform vascular study interpretation, ECG, and ambulatory ECG reporting and interpretation
• Participate in marketing outreach as well as staff and patient education programs as assigned by medical group leadership
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities as requested
• Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested
• Supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as assigned

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Cardiology degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Board certification in cardiovascular disease; Board certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine or a strong track record in cardiac intensive care
• Eligibility for an unrestricted New York Physician license
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, patient care, and research in an inclusive environment
