We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Physician to join our critical care department and provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and innovative healthcare environment.

You will work in our renowned critical care department known for its excellence in delivering life-saving interventions and comprehensive critical care services. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technologies and a multidisciplinary team of critical care specialists, nurses, and support staff. Collaborate with experts in various specialties to provide high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
The exact hours will be determined based on the needs of the department and patient volume. You will work in shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage for critically ill patients.
On-call responsibilities will be shared among the team.

Salary Range:
$300,000 to $500,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), including initial evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management.
  • Perform procedures necessary for critical care patients, such as intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and imaging studies to assess patients' conditions and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and specialists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure informed decision-making and support.
  • Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance patient care, research, and professional development.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance critical care practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active state medical license and ability to practice medicine in the desired location.
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in managing critically ill patients in an intensive care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
