Position Overview:
A leading Healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a hospital-based practice setting. Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of dermatologic conditions for diverse patient populations
- Manage outpatient clinic sessions (medical, surgical, and optional cosmetic dermatology)
- Provide inpatient dermatology consults and collaborate with hospitalists, infectious disease, oncology, and rheumatology
- Perform procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, electrosurgery, and intralesional injections
- Participate in grand rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case conferences
- Supervise and teach residents or medical students (if affiliated with a medical school)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical license in New Jersey
- Strong interest in collaborative and team-based care
- Experience in a hospital or academic setting is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and diagnostic skills
