Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and laboratory tests, to diagnose and treat endocrine disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices, medications, hormone therapies, lifestyle modifications, and patient education.
  • Perform and interpret specialized endocrine diagnostic procedures, such as thyroid ultrasounds, fine-needle aspiration biopsies, insulin pump management, and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Monitor patients' progress through regular follow-up visits, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing education and support to promote self-management of endocrine conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, dietitians, and diabetes educators, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Participate in research activities, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives to advance knowledge and enhance patient outcomes in the field of endocrinology.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in endocrinology through continuous medical education (CME) activities, conferences, and professional literature review.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, actively engaging in team meetings, case discussions, and multidisciplinary consultations.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Endocrinology from an accredited program.
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in Endocrinology.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as an Endocrinologist.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and metabolic disorders.
  • Strong clinical skills in performing specialized endocrine procedures and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
