Full-time Family Practice Physician Needed in Austin, TX

Life Line Community Center is seeking for a full-time Practice Physician. As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care. Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments and feel the pride of going beyond to help others. In this role, you will obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You will record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.

Job Schedule:

This is a Full Time Monday-Friday position. Shifts vary weekly 8:00am-5:00pm, overtime as needed. May be required to cover for other practices within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of exceptional primary care.
  • Office visits for routine and acute issues.
  • Annual wellness visits and health risk assessments, which require a holistic view of health and a focus on thoughtful, accurate, and specific documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to accurately diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications.
  • Utilize your expertise to interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory results.
  • Provide ongoing care and management for chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
  • Participation in patient care rounds and conferences, including communicating patient management strategies to members of the Care Team and collaborating with the team to ensure that care plans and strategies are followed through and expanded on.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state, with a clean disciplinary record.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a family medicine practice, showcasing your clinical proficiency and ability to handle diverse patient cases.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to provide accurate diagnoses and develop optimal treatment plans.
  • A team-oriented approach, valuing collaboration and actively contributing to the success of the healthcare team.

Salary:
