Job Schedule:
Monday to Friday (daytime and occasional evening and weekend shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care and Treatment:
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose illnesses, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients of all ages. Administer and oversee vaccinations, immunizations, and preventive care measures. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, and more.
- Physical Examinations:
Perform thorough physical examinations to assess patients' overall health, identify potential concerns, and provide early interventions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and EKGs, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Medical Consultations:
Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions. Provide medical consultations and second opinions to assist patients in making informed decisions about their healthcare.
- Preventive Medicine:
Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices, including diet, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention. Offer routine health screenings and counseling to identify risk factors and promote early detection of potential health issues.
- Chronic Disease Management:
Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, focusing on disease control, symptom management, and quality of life improvement. Monitor and adjust medications and treatment regimens as needed, considering individual patient responses.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or equivalent.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or relevant certifying body.
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state or states where the physician will be providing care.
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration to prescribe controlled substances.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Salary:
$250,000-$300,000 annually.
The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
