Family Medicine Physician needed in Elaya Mental Health Services in Phoenix, NJ

Our primary care clinic is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to join our team. You will conduct exams, order tests, and prescribe medicines or implement treatments. We attempt to focus on a higher quality of care rather than a higher quantity of patients, which allows us to see patients on a regular basis and provide comprehensive care. Applicants must have a license to practice medicine and board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, family medicine, or obstetrics and gynecology. You should also have a valid DEA registration number. Experience in family practice is beneficial.

Family Medicine Physician Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services
• Conduct patient exams
• Order/interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Prescribe medicine or implement treatments
• Update patient charts and EMRs

Family Medicine Physician Requirements and Qualifications

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• License to practice medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine, family medicine, or obstetrics
• DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Bilingual communication skills (preferred)

Work Environment:

Hospital

Family physicians operating in a hospital generally function within a health care team that includes specialty and subspecialty physicians. It is expected that family physicians will be supporting the medical teams within hospitals while providing direct patient care.

Clinic or Private practice

Family physicians operating in a clinic or private practice work closely with patients and their families, outlining their condition or disease, treatment goals, and developing care plans uniquely tailored to their individual health care needs.

The typical salary range of a Family Physician is $200K-$350K yearly.
