Family Medicine Physician Needed

We are an outpatient clinic dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to families in our community. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facility, cutting-edge medical technology, and compassionate staff who strive to offer top-notch service to all our patients.


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Family Practice Physician to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000 - $300,000 per year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly individuals, for a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions. This includes diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases, as well as providing preventive care and health maintenance services.
  • Emphasizing preventive care measures such as immunizations, screenings, health education, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and well-being and prevent the onset of diseases.
  • Establishing long-term relationships with patients and families to provide continuous and coordinated care over time, including managing ongoing medical conditions, monitoring health status, and addressing changing healthcare needs.
  • Performing routine physical examinations, including wellness exams, annual check-ups, and pre-employment screenings, to assess overall health status and identify any potential health issues.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures, to diagnose medical conditions accurately. Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and arthritis through regular monitoring, medication management, and patient education to optimize health outcomes and improve quality of life.
  • Providing timely evaluation and management of acute medical problems such as infections, injuries, and minor surgical procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, physical examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care, in compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Engaging in ongoing medical education, continuing professional development activities, and quality improvement initiatives to stay abreast of current medical knowledge, best practices, and advancements in the field of family medicine.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Successful completion of a residency program in Family Medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice as a physician in the state where employment is sought. Passing the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX).
  • Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Previous experience working in Family Medicine or primary care settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport with patients, effectively communicating medical information, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to patients' needs and concerns are essential qualities for providing patient-centered care and fostering trust and rapport with patients and their families.
  • A commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development to stay current with advancements in medical knowledge, evidence-based practices, and guidelines in the field of Family Medicine.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Previous experience as Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) highly preferred
  • Must have a current unrestricted license to practice as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty
  • Must be registered and have current DEA
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association
