Family Practice Physician Opportunity – Manhattan

A well-established healthcare organization in Manhattan is expanding its team, offering a rewarding opportunity for a Family Practice Physician to provide high-quality care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. This role is ideal for a physician looking for flexibility while maintaining a fulfilling clinical practice.

Position Overview:

• Location: Manhattan
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Patient Volume: Average of 16 patients per day
• Environment: Collaborative team setting with comprehensive support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services, including annual exams, sick visits, and employer-related clearances
• Conduct specialty care evaluations in areas such as Cardiology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Pain Management, and Gastroenterology
• Outpatient-only setting with no hospital follow-ups or on-call responsibilities
• Work within an advanced clinical support system where MAs and scribes handle documentation, vitals, and routine tests, allowing physicians to focus on patient care

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO
• Certification: Board-Certified in Family Medicine
• License: New York State MD License
• Preferred: Credentialing with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances

Work Environment & Support:

• EHR System: Athena Health
• Comprehensive Administrative Support: Pharmacy, medical records, and prior authorization assistance provided
• No Psych or Pain Medication Management Required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $300K per year or $125/hr
• Estimated Annual Earnings (with Bonus): $280,000 - $300,000
• Additional Incentives: Performance-based bonus

• PTO/Sick Leave: Not included

Flexible Scheduling:

This position offers a unique ability to structure work-life balance with a variety of shift options:

• 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts available
• Potential for a customized schedule with varied shift lengths and days off

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in Family Medicine
• Languages: Spanish or Russian preferred
• Additional Credentials: Medicaid/Medicare number, Healthfirst ID, and active hospital privileges in NYC preferred

Relocation Requirement:

• Must be able to relocate to New York, NY 10003 before starting work
